Richard Krajicek (b. 1971-) Rafael Nadal (Ned)  - won 1996.

Beat Malivai Washington 6-3,6-4,6-3.

The first and only male Dutch winner of the singles title.

The most "politically incorrect" player ever at Wimbledon.

Krajicek WimbledonAndre Agassi serving at Wimbledon

Richard  Krajicek  became the  only Dutch  player to  win  Wimbledon  when he defeated Malivai Washington, in 1996. The  6ft 5inch Krajicek played a "go for your shots" game,  which left  little scope for error, but at the same time  he can be  admired for his "positive" exciting tennis.
Unfortunately, Krajicek is not known for his political  correctness, and is remembered  more for his anti-women comments than for his  achievements on court, when he said that women tennis players were "fat pigs" who "don't deserve equal pay". The "Dutch Destroyer" (or "The Tower of Power") has since apologized for his comments, and now sometimes appears on the old champions' circuit.
